Kiko Vega is worried about the VAT Standardization

He makes a call to join efforts

BAJA CALIFORNIA.- Governor-elect of Baja California, Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid, confirmed that he received the Value Added Tax Standardization at the border with great grief, it was approved by the majority at the country's Senate, as well as the rest of the tax measures which the Tax Reform Initiative included.

Kiko Vega showed his concern, given that this situation, going beyond political affiliations, will have a direct impact on the economy and welfare of the citizens of Baja California.

The next governor assured that he is and always will be in favor of causes which help Baja California, not hurt them, and that "I will dedicate myself to implementing mechanisms to counteract the VAT standardization of the VAT to 16%. Together, Society and government, we will work to revert the negative effects this measure will have."

He asked the people of Baja California to stay united, and he recognized that the representatives of the productive and business sector of the border states as well as several federal congressmen fought against these measures fiercely until the very end, defending the interest of the people for as long as they could.

He concluded "I remind you that as a society we have always been stronger than our problems, we have always set the example for the rest of the country, and we will find a way to deal with this situation and continue moving forward".
