Railway transportation, alternative energy, tourism and culture are some of the mayor's projects to concentrate on this administration; the municipal President of Tecate, César Moreno Gonzalez de Castilla, held an interview with Business connection.

He talked about the rail crossing, highlighting the need to rehabilitate the short route from Tijuana to Tecate linked to Southern California that would strengthen the local economy, since firms count with inputs for their production to lower cost raising their competitiveness in the market. He also emphasized that one of his Government's programs aims to create a site controlled strategic enabling to detonate the movement of cargo by rail East of United States in Tecate. "The realization of this project would positively impact the economy of Tecate and would relieve the office of Tijuana, given that all cargo from Eastern United States transhiped by Tecate, and vice versa, all cargo for the East would start here. We are triggering El Sauzal as charging port and Tecate as point of departure", he said.
