Kiko Vega gives Professional Diploma to Journalists in Baja

Upon his visit to a daycare in Mexicali

MEXICALI.- State Governor, Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid made a visit to the Comunicadoras de Mexicali A.C. day care center, as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of this group, which is mainly integrated by female journalists.

Vega took a tour through the facilities and acknowledged the work of its members who he congratulated for being part of this noble effort. During this visit, the State Governor alongside renown journalist and President of the First National School for Journalists, Teodoro Rentería Arroyave, gave out 25 Professional Diplomas and ID's to state journalists, accrediting with a Degree in Journalism due to Knowledge and making them par to of the Federation of Associations for Mexican Journalist "Fapermex" (in Spanish).

Regarding the matter, Vega mentioned that he feels very honored to be able to give such important documents to the members of different media, at the same time he reinstated the administration's commitment to create the necessary opportunities so Baja's community can continue with professional studies, strengthening in that matter the economy of families in the state.
