Tecate Commemorates Mexican Flag Day

The city commemorated the National Flag with a civic event in the forecourt of their bicentennial plaza

TECATE.-

The Government of the City of Tecate, led by Mayor César Moreno González de Castilla, commemorated National Flag Day, with a civic event that took place in the Bicentennial Plaza forecourt through the Department of Civic Action.

To enhance the ceremony, honors to the nation's insignia were performed, alongside the participation of the Colegio Salvatierra's escort and the city's Military Band, afterwards Mayor Moreno took 9 educational and civic institution's oath, among them Director of Tecate's Municipal Sport Institute, Saul Pruneda Valdez was present.

Upon different Government authorities, Mayor Moreno raise the flag for each institution, who respectfully gave their flag to their respective escort.

Once the ceremony concluded, there was a traditional escort parade down Juárez avenue, where different schools of all educative levels participated, as well as government institutions and civil organizations.
