TECATE.- With a $2,768,250 pesos ($185,000dlls) investment on behalf the the federal funding of SUBSEMUN 2014, elements of the City's Public Safety Headquarters were supplied with new uniforms an tactic equipment, this event was led by the city's Mayor, César Moreno González de Castilla.

During this deliverance, Director of Public Security and City Transit, Juan Lam Canto, extended his gratefulness to Mayor Moreno for his work regarding the benefit of the corporation, who day by day risk their physical integrity in order to provide security and wellbeing to the city's residents.

Lam Canto assured that he will continue to set as priority the professionalization, training and equipment of all public security elements, as way of showing Tecate's progress.

On his behalf, Mayor Moreno pointed out that security is a matter of priority for the city. "With this equipment supply we countersign our commitment to you, but most of all with the citizens, by having a better equipped and trained police corps".

Likewise he added that Tecate has had a very low crime rate, which is why it is very important to supply police men with the necessary tools so they can perform their labor at their best and they can give the community the safety and tranquility it deserves.
