TIJUANA.- In order to contribute to the formation of professional that are part of the integral development of the city, the City of Tijuana alongside the City's Institute Against Addictions (Imcad) signed an agreement this morning with CUT University, on which they commit to tighten the collaboration that supports government programs regarding the matter of addictions.
During this protocol act, the Secretary of Municipal Social Development, Rodolfo López Fajardo, acknowledged the importance of the role educative institutions play in order to provide quality services to the population.
"This agreement allows the intervention of health and human development professionals that provide an answer to the problems that appear when there is a addiction, contributing to citizen training that will venture into their productive live and will be a part of Tijuana's progress", he added.
Imcad's direct, Marlon Tapia Valdez, assured that the participation of CUT's alumni in several government programs, through social service and professional residence, will be prevailing for strengthening the government's work.
On his behalf, CUT's headmaster, Jesús Ruiz Barraza, thanked the City of Tijuana for backing up the young students that for months provide their services and collaborate on the subject of treatment and prevention regarding people with any type of drug dependence.
