The 36th annual Grape Harvest Festival (Fiestas de la Vendimia) concluded on August 7 at the Riviera Cultural Center of Ensenada, generating an estimated $60 million pesos in economic impact for the region.
The Grape Harvest Festival drew nearly 30,000 attendees, cementing Baja California’s reputation as the epicenter of Mexican winemaking and culinary culture. Francisco Rubio Cárdenas, president of Provino Baja California, noted that this year’s festivities were a resounding success for both festivalgoers and event organizers alike.

Attendees had the opportunity to sample more than 160 wine labels organized at tasting bars by grape variety alongside pairings from 55 regional restaurants.
Beyond the food and wine, the festival featured a dynamic entertainment lineup distributed across five stages, showcasing genres from rock, jazz, and electronic to norteño and Latin rhythms. The night culminated in a headlining performance by Mi Banda El Mexicano de Germán Román.
The Grape Harvest Festival capped nearly a month of celebrations, highlighting the region’s rich heritage while reinforcing Baja California’s standing as Mexico’s premier wine destination.
