Just in time for Mexico’s Independence month, Expo TlaquepArte is making its return to Playas de Rosarito and will take place from Wednesday, September 16, through Sunday, September 20, at the Baja California Center Convention Center.
Over five days, the venue will host more than 250 exhibitors representing 17 countries and 25 Mexican states, where ttendees can explore a diverse array of handcrafted goods, fine jewelry, home décor, and culinary delights.
Organizers project a turnout of approximately 45,000 visitors, including wholesale buyers and general audiences alike.
This year’s edition introduces a major highlight: the debut of Cielo Tejido (Woven Sky), a monumental textile installation handcrafted by artisans from Etzatlán, Jalisco.

Created using weaving techniques, the piece comprises dozens of individually woven components that together form a vibrant sky. The installation offers visitors a glimpse into the rich textile heritage and collective artistry of the Etzatlán region.
Beyond the main attraction, the expo features dedicated pavilions showcasing artisanal products, textiles, and regional cuisine from across Mexico and around the world.
Countries and Cultures from All Over the World in One Event
Expo TlaquepArte also prides itself on its international flair as it includes exhibitors from Colombia, Egypt, Cuba, Russia, and beyond.
Shoppers can discover Turkish mosaic lamps, Arabic cosmetics, Colombian coffee, Russian matryoshka dolls, and an array of other unique imports. The expo will also feature traditional Mexican staples such as mole, salsas, tequila, and regional sweets.
