Ismael Burgueño Ruiz hosted an Informative Assembly in the Ejido Nuevo León community of Mexicali. The event took place at the home of Delfina, a local neighborhood leader, and drew families and supporters from across the area with the goal of sharing the progress of the Fourth Transformation.
During the gathering, Burgueño expressed his gratitude to Delfina and the residents who opened their doors to the assembly, emphasizing that such encounters reinforce the movement’s foundation in citizen trust and community organization.
“With the people, everything; without the people, nothing,” he said, underscoring that the strength and continuity of the transformation project rest squarely on the participation of ordinary citizens.
Burgueño, who is a candidate for the State Coordination in Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty in Morena, recalled that the party was built through years of territorial outreach, town meetings, and sustained civic mobilization. He stressed that visiting ejidos, neighborhoods, and communities throughout Baja California allows him to maintain a direct connection with residents, particularly those who have historically been excluded from public decision-making processes.
Ismael Burgueño also highlighted how this citizen engagement has helped advance a broader agenda of social justice and well-being, currently being carried forward under the administration of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. He noted that the “Second Floor” of the Fourth Transformation continues to prioritize direct delivery of social benefits and inclusive development, ensuring that no community is left behind as Baja California progresses.
Burgueño also reaffirmed his commitment to taking these assemblies to every corner of the state and maintaining dialogue between the movement and its base and safeguarding national sovereignty.
“The people’s trust is our greatest commitment,” he stated, adding that the transformation will endure so long as citizens remain organized, engaged, and dedicated to the collective good.
