La Corriente Cocina del Pacífico is set to open its third location in San Diego County, bringing its signature Baja California-style seafood to Oceanside.
The new restaurant will be located within The Freeman Collective, according to an announcement in Oceanside Business News. It will offer the brand’s signature seafood dishes, coastal flavors, and Baja-inspired atmosphere to diners in the northern part of the county.
Third U.S. Location for the Growing Brand
This marks La Corriente’s third establishment in the United States, following its flagship restaurant in La Jolla and a second location in Coronado. With this latest expansion, Southern California diners will continue to have access to the brand’s modern take on Baja California–style seafood.
Originally founded in Tijuana in 2014 as La Corriente Cevichería + Nais, the group has since cultivated a loyal following in Mexico, with locations in Mexicali, Monterrey, Mazatlán, and Mexico City.

Flavors of the Pacific, Reimagined
La Corriente is known for transforming traditional Pacific seafood into contemporary dishes served in an elegant yet approachable setting, a formula that has made it one of Baja California’s most recognized restaurant brands.
The menu features a wide variety of seafood offerings inspired by the culinary traditions of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Popular dishes include ceviches, aguachile, oysters, seafood towers, tuna tostadas, grilled octopus, soft-shell crab tacos, and whole fish preparations.
