Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito signed a collaboration agreement with Baja California’s Public Property and Commerce Registry (RPPC) to simplify the registration and ratification of donation contracts for Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) officers and other land donation program beneficiaries. The initiative seeks to provide legal certainty for their families’ assets.

“I deeply appreciate the support of Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda and her entire team, especially the head of RPPC, Carlos Murguía Mejía, who has always shown a willingness to expedite and improve procedures for the benefit of our citizens—and in this case, our police officers,” Mayor Adame Muñoz of Rosarito said.

The head of RPPC, Carlos Munguía Mejía, reaffirmed the state government’s full support in collaborating on land regularization and ensuring legal certainty for citizens’ property, including municipal officials.

The mayor reiterated her administration’s commitment to solving the longstanding administrative debt inherited from previous administrations, which failed to provide the necessary property security for SSC officers.

In an emotional testimony, an officer and his wife shared their gratitude to Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito for her support in finalizing their procedure and obtaining legal certainty for their home, which had been donated to them.

This agreement represents a significant step forward in Playas de Rosarito’s commitment to the well-being and legal security of members of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, recognizing their vital role in protecting the community.
