Local and state authorities have introduced new pickup and drop-off zones at Tijuana International Airport, providing space for public transport and ride-hailing services like Uber and DiDi.
As part of these changes, officials have also installed visible signage and pedestrian crossings on Carretera Aeropuerto, directly in front of the terminal.

The goal is to improve mobility for passengers arriving or departing the airport, allowing them to safely choose their preferred and most convenient mode of transportation.
The new signage clearly marks designated areas for “Bus” and “Ride-hailing Services” in both traffic directions.

This initiative is a coordinated project between the Tijuana City Hall and the government of Baja California, addressing the growing demand for safer and more functional road infrastructure in one of the city’s busiest locations.
