Rosarito’s beaches drew approximately 13,500 visitors over the weekend as Baja Beach Fest brought thousands of people to the city, with lifeguards maintaining a constant presence throughout the busiest periods.
According to Rosarito’s Civil Protection and Fire Department, rescue personnel conducted around 300 preventive interventions, including patrols and assistance to beachgoers, while monitoring conditions across the city’s beaches.


Lifeguards maintain beach patrols
Despite the high turnout, no major incidents were reported during the weekend. Lifeguards responded to four cases involving stingray stings, although none resulted in serious injuries.
Rescue personnel continued conducting patrols and providing assistance throughout the busiest periods, helping maintain safe conditions for residents, tourists and other visitors.
Local authorities said they will continue strengthening preventive and emergency response measures as Rosarito’s beaches remain a major draw for visitors.
