Looking to draw crowds from both sides of the border, Playas de Rosarito is rolling out a packed summer lineup for 2026 featuring food festivals, live music, craft beer, and seaside events designed to lure regional and binational visitors.
From May through August, the calendar is bursting with art shows, culinary experiences, and entertainment, all part of a broader push to boost the local economy and put Rosarito front and center for travelers from Baja California and Southern California alike.
Ensenada Press Conference Sets the Stage
The summer schedule was unveiled during a press conference at the Tap Room of Canneria in Ensenada, where tourism, restaurant, and cultural leaders gathered to preview the months ahead.
On hand to share details were Horacio Bayardo, Promotion and Advertising Manager; Marco Antonio Carrillo Maza, Director of Proturismo Ensenada; Benito del Águila, Director of Artwalk Rosarito; Luis Reyes, Director of the Rosarito Beer Fest; Octavio Machado, President of Canirac Rosarito; and artist Sharina Fong.

A Major Push to Solidify Rosarito’s Tourism Appeal
Organizers say one key goal is clear: strengthen Rosarito’s reputation as a must-visit summer destination. That means driving business to local hotels, restaurants, shops, and service providers.
They also point to a recent surge in events centered on gastronomy, urban art, and craft beer, sectors that have become pillars of the city’s tourism identity.
