Playas de Rosarito is rolling out a vibrant lineup of cultural events designed to entertain visitors and locals alike. The Tourism and Conventions Committee (COTUCO) has curated a diverse seasonal program for whoever is visiting.
CEART Summer Workshops
At the heart of the season’s offerings is the CEART Summer program, an educational initiative aimed at nurturing creative talent across generations. The center will host hands-on workshops such as Arabic Dance, Classical Guitar, Watercolor, Clay Modeling, Experimental Sculpture, and Violin for beginners and experts.

“Our Baja California – The Kumiai” Documentary Screening
A documentary produced through the BCGenera AIEC program that sheds light on the contemporary struggles facing the Kumiai people including issues of language preservation, land rights, territorial sovereignty, water, and nature. The screening will be introduced by producer Omar Aarón Romero Godoy, followed by a panel discussion featuring Jorge Sánchez, Norma Meza, and Josué Beltrán.

Opera by the Sea Festival
Residents and tourists from both Rosarito and neighboring Tijuana are invited to enjoy this unforgettable open-air performance. The Opera by the Sea Festival promises to captivate audiences with a sweeping repertoire from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly to Disney’s Moana. For the first time ever, the festival will feature a live orchestra.
