For two days and more than 28 nonstop hours of music, the Sunset DJ Fest 2026 turned Playas de Rosarito into a vibrant crossroads for music lovers from both sides of the border.
More than 3,500 attendees came together for the event, proving that great music and community spirit know no limits.
Bringing together 42 DJs from San Diego, Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada, the festival was a true celebration of regional talent.
With free admission and sets that stretched from day into night, the event drew a stream of visitors, helping cement Rosarito’s reputation as a rising destination for large-scale cultural events.
Behind the scenes, the festival’s smooth success was no accident. The 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito, through coordinated efforts by the Secretariat of Citizen Security, Civil Protection and Firefighters, the Municipal DIF, and ZOFEMAT, rolled out a comprehensive safety operation that allowed the celebration to unfold without major incidents.
