The 39th edition of Travesía Baja 100 is set to attract adventurers looking to push their limits while taking in Baja California’s breathtaking landscapes—a region famed for its ecological diversity, stunning scenery, endemic species, and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Discover the state’s natural wonders on this trek spanning 110 kilometers (roughly 68 miles) from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of California, crossing through Baja’s central desert: Valle de Los Cirios and Misión San Francisco Borja de Adac.
The event will take place from November 5 to November 9, with around 200 hikers from around the world expected to participate in this epic adventure.
What’s the Travesía Baja 100 Route Like?
This trek began in 1987 with a group of campers known as “Mi BC” and has since become an annual tradition, representing Baja California’s premier hiking route. The full journey lasts five days, with three dedicated to hiking.
This journey will include hydration stations available throughout the trek and a trained support team at all times, who will provide first aid, food, and assistance as needed.
Rest stops will be available to allow adventurers to recharge and if a hiker cannot continue, a sweeper vehicle will be activated at the end of each day’s route.
