A new outdoor roller skating attraction has opened along San Diego Bay, giving visitors another way to enjoy the city during the summer months.

Located at 821 W. Harbor Drive in Seaport Village, Ringer’s Roller Rink features an open-air skating rink overlooking the harbor, making it a new destination for families, couples and groups looking to spend time outdoors.

Skating with a view of San Diego Bay

One of the rink’s biggest draws is its location along the Embarcadero, where skaters can enjoy views of landmarks including the Coronado Bridge, The Rady Shell and the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina while circling the rink.

In addition to skating, the venue includes:

  • Outdoor concrete skating rink
  • Quad skate rentals for all ages
  • Snack bar featuring ICEE and Dippin’ Dots
  • Gift shop with official merchandise
  • Printed photo booth
  • Shaded seating areas and enjoyable ocean breeze

Summer schedule and ticket prices

Ringer’s Roller Rink is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the summer season.

Admission is $18, while quad skate rentals cost $4. Visitors can also rent helmets and protective gear for $6, and beginners can use a Skate Mate skating aid for $10.

Because the rink operates through an online reservation system, visitors are encouraged to book in advance, particularly on weekends and during the busy summer travel season. You can book here.

Whether you’re visiting San Diego on vacation or live in the border region, the new rink offers another way to enjoy the city’s waterfront while spending time outdoors.
