Zona Rio and Villa del Real among the neighborhoods with more active cases in Tijuana

Find out about the rest of the neighborhoods and the number of cases in each one of them

The Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, announced this Tuesday, September 29, the neighborhoods of Tijuana and the rest of the municipalities of Baja California where the active coronavirus cases are located, which give strength to the pandemic.

According to Perez Rico, the border city registers 108 of the 344 active cases that exist in the state, however there are 10 neighborhoods where a great part of these are concentrated.

Among these neighborhoods, Zona Río and Villa del Real are the ones that report most active cases, 4 each, while the rest of the neighborhoods have 2 each and are the following: Florido 1st section, Hacienda Cordoba, La Mesa, Reynoso 2, Porticos de San Antonio, Artesanal, El Mirador and Lazaro Cardenas.

In turn, the Health Secretary reported that there are already 19 thousand 259 positive cases accumulated in Baja California and 3 thousand 513 deaths due to COVID-19; although at least 11 thousand 347 patients have managed to win the battle against this disease.
