Active cases of COVID-19 total 454 in Baja California as of Wednesday, according to the report presented by the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico.
Of this total, 170 are concentrated in Tijuana, 118 in Mexicali, 83 in Ensenada, 43 in San Quintin, 21 in Rosarito, 10 in Tecate and nine in San Felipe.
It was reported that in the last 24 hours, 118 new cases and 17 deaths due to this disease were registered in the state, most of them in Tijuana, specifically 64 and 12 respectively. With this, so far in the pandemic, there have been 43 thousand and 86 infections and 7 thousand 224 deaths due to the coronavirus in Baja California.
On the other hand, the hospitals that attend patients with COVID-19 in the state seem stable, having a hospital occupancy rate of 17%, and having 791 available beds and 207 ventilators.
However, 119 Baja Californians were hospitalized today and 70 more were intubated.
