Baja California begins the week under a green traffic light for the first time, as indicated last Saturday by the head of the Secretariat of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico.

In view of this change of color, the opening of activities and the permitted capacities have also been modified, but although it could be thought that everything would be operating at 100%, Pérez Rico commented that this will only be the case in the activities that will not affect this new normality.

The activities and permitted capacities are the following:

-Gyms, sports centers, spas and massage centers: 100%.
-Professional sports (only with a Letter of No Inconvenience issued by the Secretary of Health): 50%.
-Cinemas, theaters, museums and cultural events: 85%.
-Shopping malls: 85%.
-Religious centers, churches, temples, synagogues, mosques: 100%.
-Mass events and recreational centers, concerts, amusement parks, spas and fairs: only with a letter of No Inconvenience issued by the Secretary of Health.
-Events and family reunions: Open
-Hotels: 100%
-Casinos: 85%
-Bars: 75%
-Diners: 75%
-Open event halls/gardens: 100%
-Closed event halls: 75%
-Restaurants and cafeterias: 85%
-Hairdressers, estheticians and barbershops: 85%
-Parks, plazas and public spaces: 100%
-Markets and supermarkets: 100%
-Public transportation (use of masks recommended) : 100%

Due to its COVID-19 tendencies, Mexicali is the only municipality that will not be allowed to operate with the previous activities and capacities, since it remains under the yellow traffic light, confirmed the Secretary of Health.
