Baja California will roll out Covid-19 booster shots this Thursday to those over 30

On Wednesday afternoon, the Secretariat of Health will publish the vaccination sites

Thanks to efforts undertaken by Governor, Marina del Pilar, the Covid-19 booster shot vaccination campaign will begin this Thursday, February 10 in Baja California. The shots will be available to people 30 years of age and older, the Secretary of Health, Adrián Medina Amarillas stated.

He explained that this Wednesday the Secretariat of Health will provide the vaccination sites for people within this age range. He also clarified that more sites will be deployed, especially in Tijuana, where 60% of people in this age group currently live.

Medina Amarillas said that the Secretariat of Health officially revealed this Tuesday the pre-enrollment opening for people between 30 and 39 years of age. This way they will be able to get the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine booster dose, which will begin its rollout next Monday, February 14 in Mexico. However, an agreement was reached to start the rollout in Baja California this Thursday, February 10.

People in Baja California are encouraged to be alert regarding the Secretariat of Health’s social media to find out where the booster vaccinations sites for those over 30 are going to be set up.
