On September 21, 2022, streaming platform Netflix will debut the Mexican version of the popular gastronomic show Iron Chef.

The popular gastronomic show has been on the air for over two decades and will have its debut on Netflix hosted by singer Paty Cantú.

This edition will have the participation of Tijuana chef Adria Marina Montaña, who will be competing against the clock along with other Mexican chefs. The country’s best chefs will be competing face to face against the Iron Chef, using secret ingredients.

Adria Marina is a young Tijuana chef who has a lot of experience with gastronomic fusions. She has mentioned in previous interviews that her style was molded by her childhood experiences. Visiting Asian restaurants very early in her life influenced her since she was a kid and what she would do later. Adria has said that, to her, cooking is love.

She is currently the owner of three haute cuisine restaurants in Tijuana: Georgina, Don Ramen, and Azarosa.

In 2020, a Top 10 Best Chefs of Mexico list was published and among them, appeared the name of Adria Marina. In addition, in 2022, she received the national Restaurant Business Distinction Award “Nemesio Diez Riega” as the Best Young Restaurant Owner-Entrepeneur of the Year by CANIRAC.
