The governor of Baja California, Marina de Pilar, will be part of the NADBank Summit 2023 that will take place in San Antonio, Texas on August 30 and August 31, 2023, which is looking to promote dialogue about relevant environmental topics, sustainability processes, and economic integration of the US-Mexico border region.
The North American Development Bank (NADBank) will be the host of the 2023 NADBank Summit that will have as its topic "US-Mexico Economic Integration and Sustainable Region" on August 30 and August 31 at Hotel Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
Governor Marina del Pilar will participate in this binational platform where she will speak about Baja California's strategies in favor of economic integration issues in the region. At this meeting, issues related to sustainable nearshoring, challenges regarding the scarcity of water in the next few years in the Californias, the energy transition in the border, manufacturing, and green industrial parks and their relevance in economic integration will be addressed.
During this binational event, there will be two panels where officials from certain US-Mexico border states will participate; Marina del Pilar will also be speaking here.
Approximately, forty important panelists will participate during this two-day event. The following significant people will also participate: the ambassador of Mexico in the United States, Esteban Moctezuma; the president of the Coordinator Business Council, Francisco Cervantes; the Vice President of the Federal Reserve in Dallas, and the President and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce, Ramiro A. Cavazos; Deputy Director of the Bank of Mexico; Jonathan Heath; the President of the Clean Energy and Energy Infrastructure Group of SEMPRA, Tania Ortiz Mena; and the mayor of San Antonio, Texas, Ron Nirenberg.
