Exchange rate in Tijuana for this Friday: Mexican peso close to 15 units

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there was an increase in non-agricultural US income in March

The Mexican peso has reached its best level so far this year, with an appreciation of 0.82% in the first few hours of Friday, with an exchange rate in banks of 16.45 units per dollar.

Why is the peso appreciating?

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there was an increase in non-agricultural US income in March, which also means an increase in remittances to Mexico.

In other words, in March, there was a higher admission of dollars into Mexico than an exit of Mexican pesos.

Exchange rate in Tijuana

In Tijuana, dollars can be bought at 16.30 pesos with a slight 0.5 cent variation in exchange houses. Meanwhile, dollars can be sold at 16 units with a 0.5 cent variation.

There is a slight increase in sales compared to April 4 that showed a total of 16.27 units per dollar. This is the best appreciation of the Mexican peso since 2015.

It should be noted that in exchange houses in the United States, 1 dollar is being sold at 16.48 pesos.
