The Baja California state government through the Center for Justice for Women (CEJUM), in coordination with the National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) has announced a new Examination Application Session for the Certification of Primary and Secondary Education. The initiative allows women to complete their basic education requirements through a single exam.
Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda reaffirmed that ensuring educational access remains a cornerstone of her administration’s strategy to foster broader development opportunities for women across the state.
She underscored education as a critical instrument for strengthening women’s autonomy and unlocking pathways to personal, academic, and professional growth and reiterated her commitment to providing the conditions necessary for more women to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life alongside their families.
The campaign builds on a collaboration agreement between CEJUM and INEA that has been in place since 2022. Through this partnership, both institutions have worked to bring certification opportunities directly to women, reducing barriers to completing basic education and expanding their prospects for advancement.
Magdalena Bautista Ramírez, CEJUM’s General Director, detailed that the examination will take place on Friday, August 14, at CEJUM facilities in Tijuana. Applicants for the primary school certification only need to submit their Unique Population Registry Code (CURP), while those seeking secondary school certification must provide both their CURP and original primary school certificate.
To participate, interested individuals are required to register in advance by calling (664) 879 0576. Upon registration, applicants will receive a digital study guide, along with personalized guidance and accompaniment throughout the process until the delivery of their official certificate.
Governor Marina del Pilar encouraged all women to seize this opportunity as it represents a concrete step toward greater academic development and is part of a broader slate of actions aimed at fostering a life of greater opportunity and collective prosperity for women and their families in Baja California.
