A total of nine undocumented migrants were taken into custody by the U.S. Coast Guard in Mission Bay.
The detention occurred on Saturday at approximately 3:45 p.m., when the crew of a 45-foot medium-response vessel from the Coast Guard Station in San Diego spotted a 22-foot Seaswirl boat making its way into Mission Bay. Officers promptly moved in to board and inspect the craft.
