The Rosarito Tourism and Conventions Committee (COTUCO Rosarito) is inviting the community to get ready on November 29 for the 5K “Run and Walk,” celebrating the 30th anniversary of El Mezón Rosarito.
The event aims to foster family bonding, encourage an active lifestyle, and raise awareness around addiction prevention. Proceeds will directly fund rehabilitation scholarships for youth from low-income backgrounds.
“We want to unite more people behind this cause and provide meaningful opportunities to those who need support to move forward,” organizers shared.

The 5K route will kick off at El Mezón and conclude at the Playas de Rosarito Metropolitan Park, with community leader Armando Esquivel supporting a segment of the course.
The festivities will continue beyond the finish line with live music, raffles, and giveaways. The first 300 registered participants will receive a commemorative medal and a pair of athletic socks.
Younger attendees will also have their moment to shine in a sub-kilometer “mini-race” hosted right after the main event, open to all children with no participant limit.
Registration is open directly via phone or WhatsApp at 661-136-9411 for an entry fee of $300 MXN ($16 USD).
