For those craving the tastes and traditions of the Mediterranean, there’s no need to book a flight to Athens. This September, San Diego will host the annual Cardiff Greek Festival, a two-day festival featuring Greek cuisine, music, and culture.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026, the event will take place at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
Greek Cuisine, Live Music, and Lots of Dancing
Attendees can look forward to sampling authentic Greek dishes while soaking in the sounds of live traditional music. The festival will also feature Greek dance performances and dance lessons, giving visitors the chance to learn a few steps.
The Cardiff Greek Festival includes guided tours of the church and a variety of family-friendly activities designed to foster a sense of community.
Free Admission for Children
The festival is offering complimentary entry for several groups. Children under 12 will be admitted at no cost and do not require a ticket.
Free access also extends to lifeguards, first responders, veterans, and active-duty military personnel upon presentation of valid identification.
Cardiff Greek Festival Hours and Dates
The event will run throughout the weekend of September 12–13. Organizers have announced that Saturday hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., while Sunday hours are slightly shorter, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
