Visitors to Rosarito will have the chance to experience products, flavors and traditions from around the world when Expo TlaquepArte returns to the city from September 16 through 20.
The 12th edition of the cultural and artisan fair will take place at the Baja California Convention Center, bringing exhibitors from four continents together for five days of shopping and cultural discovery.
Countries represented include Egypt, Ghana, Kenya and Senegal from Africa; Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru from the Americas; India, Indonesia, Nepal and Turkey from Asia; and Greece and Russia from Europe.
A World of Crafts Under One Roof
The fair has previously brought together more than 200 artisans and will feature products ranging from Colombian coffee and Turkish mosaic lamps to makeup, Russian matryoshka dolls, jewelry and textiles.
Organizers expect approximately 45,000 wholesale buyers and general visitors throughout the five-day event, making the fair an opportunity to discover products and traditions from different parts of the world without leaving Rosarito.
One of this year’s additions will be the Cielo Tejido, a large collective textile artwork created by artisans from Etzatlán, Jalisco, using traditional weaving techniques.

Expo TlaquepArte will be open September 16–20 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free, and the event is designed for visitors of all ages.
