Multiple videos circulating on social media capture the moment the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, Ricardo Salinas, entered Banorte Stadium, known as Estadio Ciudad de México for the global sporting event, accompanied by family members and his security detail.
As the billionaire made his way into the stadium, fans gathered near the barrier separating VIP access from the general public area began hurling insults and vulgar remarks.
Among the most notable chants was “There goes Trump’s bitch!” Salinas responded with gestures and a comment that is inaudible on the recording.
Salinas has faced widespread criticism for his political opposition stance, as well as for his alleged closeness to and support for U.S. President Donald Trump.
Other insults captured in the videos include “Say hi to Uncle Richie for me, you son of a bitch,” “You damned dog,” “F*** your mother, a***hole,” and “You f*ing sellout,” among others.
