Citing the latest April 2026 survey from Statistical Research Corporation (SRC), Governor Marina del Pilar’s administration continues to enjoy strong public support, earning a 59.9% approval rating, positioning it 10th place nationwide.
“This level of citizen backing isn’t a matter of luck,” Zavala Márquez said. “It’s the direct result of a government agenda focused on what matters most to the people.”
Regarding social well-being, Baja California has reached a historic milestone: it now has the lowest poverty rate in all of Mexico. Official indicators show that the state has successfully eradicated extreme poverty, turning Baja California into a national model for social justice and transparent management of public funds.

In addition, the state is thriving economically. According to the federal Secretariat of Economy, Baja California ranks 4th in the country for attracting Foreign Direct Investment.
Furthermore, over 50 billion pesos in infrastructure investments are expected by the end of this term which will fund strategic projects that create jobs, boost competitiveness, and improve daily life for residents.
Zavala Márquez emphasized that these economy, infrastructure, and social welfare results serve as the main driving force to continue the transformation project. He claimed that citizen approval motivates the administration to further strengthen major strategic projects to always guarantee a better quality of life for all families in the state.
