The government of Rosarito, led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz, hosted a special celebration in honor of Mother’s Day, recognizing hundreds of women community leaders. The event aimed to strengthen community ties and foster the social fabric in the municipality.
The mayor highlighted the leadership of women, acknowledging their fundamental role in society and family life.
“This day is an opportunity to honor all mothers, leaders, and women who inspire through their commitment, hard work, and love,” Adame Muñoz said.

Meanwhile, Jaziel Espinosa Adame, President of the DIF Playas de Rosarito Board, emphasized the vital importance of women in the region’s productivity. She underscored how their constant efforts and perseverance drive orderly and dignified transformation for the benefit of all Baja Californian families.
“You are an inspiring example for all of us, as your daily work is a pillar in building a better Playas de Rosarito. On this special Mother’s Day, we hope you enjoy a day filled with love and serenity,” Espinosa Adame stated.

The event also highlighted the crucial role these women play in society, extending their commitment beyond the family sphere to actively contribute to the progress and well-being of the entire Rosarito community.
Female councilors and members of the City Hall joined the celebration, which brought together hundreds of women from different neighborhoods. Attendees enjoyed a pleasant gathering with music, participated in a raffle, and received a special commemorative gift.
