SCORE International has announced a major shake-up for its 2027 SCORE World Desert Championship: after years of tradition in San Felipe, the event will now take place in Mexicali and be rebranded as the SCORE Baja 250.

The announcement, made under the banner of “A new season. A new chapter,” signals a fresh direction for the legendary competition as it prepares for its 54th season.

SCORE International, widely regarded as the world’s premier off-road racing organization, will kick off its four-race championship with the 40th edition of the King Shocks Baja 250 in Mexicali, Baja California.
