Morena’s state coordinator in Baja California, Julieta Ramírez, has called on party members seeking municipal and federal district leadership roles to maintain a fair, respectful, and constructive internal competition while avoiding personal attacks.
Speaking at a press conference in Tijuana alongside Morena’s national leader, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, Ramírez noted that she has been in active dialogue with prospective contenders, reminding them that all candidacies must follow the official rules set forth in the party’s call for nominations.

Addressing her own role, the state coordinator clarified that she has no authority to select, endorse, or favor any individual candidate, emphasizing that such decisions rest solely with Morena’s national leadership.
Instead, she described her role as supporting participants and ensuring that upcoming selection processes take place in an atmosphere of political maturity, fairness, and mutual respect.
Ramírez reaffirmed that Morena will continue to strengthen its grassroots presence through community outreach and local assemblies across Baja California.

Direct engagement with voters remains one of the movement’s core strengths, she noted, assuring that ground-level organization will remain a top priority throughout the party’s ongoing internal restructuring.
The statement comes as Morena moves forward to define its municipal and federal district coordination, which is part of the party’s internal reorganization leading up to the 2027 electoral cycle.
