Playas de Rosarito has been awarded the Bronze National Tourism Quality Distinction, a certification that acknowledges the continuous efforts to improve the experience for visitors. This achievement reaffirms the municipal government’s commitment to developing quality tourism.
Granted by Mexico’s Secretariat of Tourism, this recognition marks a strong step toward excellence in tourism services and strengthens Rosarito’s reputation as a nationally competitive destination.
Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito emphasized that this milestone is the result of collaborative efforts between authorities, service providers, and engaged citizens.
“Rosarito has everything it takes to be a destination of excellence… and we’re proving it. This award belongs to everyone who believes in Rosarito and works every day to make it shine,” she stated.
The mayor also thanked Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, as well as the State Government of Baja California and the Federal Secretariat of Tourism, for supporting programs that strengthen the local tourism industry.
With this distinction, Rosarito continues to boost its position as a key tourism destination in the region, committed to continuous improvement, professionalization of the sector, and economic development with social well-being.
