In a joint effort with CANIRAC Rosarito and the Playas de Rosarito Tourism and Conventions Committee (COTUCO), the Rosarito delegation took part in the 2026 Ensenada Fish and Seafood Festival to promote the municipality’s rich food culture and tourism offerings.
Representing the city were three standout establishments: Occio Alta Tradición, Sunio Beach Club, and Cervecería Reyes, each bringing the distinct flavors and high-quality cuisine that Rosarito has become known for.
A particularly notable highlight came from Occio Alta Tradición and its executive chef, Aldo Patatuchi, who earned 2nd place in the Hot Fish and Seafood category. The achievement placed him among the top culinary talents from across the state, underscoring the skill and dedication driving Rosarito’s growing reputation in the regional food scene.

We extend our congratulations to Chef Aldo Patatuchi and the entire Occio Alta Tradición team for this well-deserved accolade. Our appreciation also goes to CANIRAC Ensenada President Luis Nobelo and his team for their outstanding organization of the festival, which continues to play a vital role in strengthening Baja California’s culinary identity.
