As the 2026 FIFA World Cup heats up, San Diego is rolling out the red carpet for soccer fans still looking for the perfect spot to catch Mexico’s crucial second group-stage match against South Korea.
This Thursday, June 18, the city will host a large-scale viewing event that promises an immersive fan experience in the heart of downtown.
Presented by Adriana’s Insurance Services and organized in partnership with the San Diego Football Club (SDFC), the celebration will feature live broadcasts on massive screens at two downtown venues: Third Avenue and Memorial Park.

The day’s football lineup kicks off at 12:00 p.m. with Switzerland squaring off against Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by a 3:00 p.m. clash between Canada and Qatar.
