Valle de Guadalupe is set to host an ambitious calendar of enotourism events in 2026, with a total of 20 gatherings scheduled under the “Viñadas” initiative, according to Marco Estudillo Bernal, president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Guadalupe Valley (EDVG).

Speaking at a press conference, Estudillo Bernal, who also serves as general director of Maglén Winery, noted that the expanded roster reflects a surge in interest from wineries, tourism operators, and emerging ventures eager to join the promotional platform.

The EDVG, which represents more than 280 businesses, reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to elevating Valle de Guadalupe as Mexico’s premier wine-tourism destination.

Mexican Wine As a Strategic Cornerstone

At the heart of the initiative is a drive to position Mexican wine as the cornerstone of a broader ecosystem encompassing fine dining, boutique accommodations, transportation, romantic getaways, natural landscapes, and world-class wine experiences.

“Valle de Guadalupe offers a one-of-a-kind blend of natural beauty, rural charm, local artistry, and premium products where the best of the sea, the countryside, livestock, and aquaculture all converge,” Estudillo Bernal said.

He further emphasized the region’s significant economic impact, noting that EDVG-affiliated businesses alone generate more than 10,000 jobs, underscoring the sector’s vital role in regional employment and economic development.

In a nod to family-friendly entertainment and national pride, the evening will also feature a giant-screen broadcast of the Mexican National Team’s match, blending soccer fandom with a celebration of Baja California’s signature products.
