There’s never a dull moment in Playas de Rosarito, and this week, COTUCO Rosarito is rolling out a fun lineup of beachfront experiences, art exhibitions, festivals, and more.

Here’s a look the best events and shows that are happening in Rosarito from August 7 through 9.

Mexayotl

Enjoy the inauguration of Mexayotl, an exhibition by artist Benito del Águila. Set against the backdrop of the sea, the evening features visual art in a welcoming space for residents and tourists alike at CEART Playas de Rosarito.

Acantilados by Sunio

Acantilados by Sunio transforms La Cueva into an exclusive pop-up destination. Guests can enjoy a specialty menu, signature cocktails, and live music in an intimate seaside setting. The experience runs from August 7 through September 30 at Castillos del Mar.

2nd Annual Art and Culture Festival

Baja Chess Kids

Young strategists can test their skills at the Baja Chess KIDS 2026 rapid-chess tournament. Designed for children and youth across multiple age categories, the competition offers up to $7,500 pesos ($436 USD) in cash prizes, along with trophies and medals for top finishers.

La Vaquerona Runners
