Playas de Rosarito is set to host the inaugural Grill & Beer Festival this weekend, a vibrant culinary event that promises to bring together the very best of grilled cuisine, craft brewing, and live entertainment in one festive setting.
During a press conference held last Wednesday, July 1, key figures behind the initiative shared their vision for the festival. Among those present were Saúl Álvarez, Director of the Tourism and Conventions Committee of Playas de Rosarito; Mónica Ramírez, Director of CANIRAC Rosarito Oficial; and Luis Reyes, President of the Association of Brewers of Playas de Rosarito.

“This event aims to unite the finest in grilling, premium meat cuts, barbecue, craft beer, live music, and local talent all under one roof,” the festival wrote on their social media pages.
Several participating exhibitors of Grill & Beer 2026 were also in attendance at the press conference, offering a preview of the mouthwatering dishes attendees can look forward to sampling.

When & Where Will Grill & Beer 2026 Take Place?
Scheduled for Saturday, July 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the free-admission event will take place at the Hotel Festival Plaza in Rosarito. Organizers anticipate a lively turnout, with hotel occupancy in the area expected to reach approximately 95%, bolstered by the timing of the U.S. Independence Day holiday.
“We invite everyone to join us for a one-of-a-kind experience filled with flavor, great music, and the warm spirit of community,” the organizers said.
