During a series of Informative Assemblies, Ismael Burgueño garnered broad support from local residents and fellow party members, who voiced their readiness to defend the nation’s sovereignty and uphold the legacy of Mexico’s transformative project.
“The Fourth Transformation still has a long road ahead,” said Burgueño, who is vying for the role of Coordinator in Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty. His remarks came as he made his way through the Luis Donaldo Colosio, González Ortega, Parajes de Oriente, Torres de Puebla, Valle Dorado, and Finca Los Jazmines neighborhoods.

Throughout his tour of Baja California, Burgueño said he has connected with dedicated Morena supporters, both long-standing followers and newly incorporated allies, who are committed to safeguarding the advances made in recent years for the benefit of all Mexicans.
“Right now, we are witnessing historic investments in education and infrastructure, along with unprecedented support for young people,” Burgueño noted. “The federal government is tackling the root causes of our challenges and responding to the country’s most pressing needs.” He also praised President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo for her daily commitment to serving the Mexican people.

Burgueño stressed the importance of remaining in constant dialogue with citizens, stating:
“This project must be cared for at every step, and caring for it means staying connected.” That principle, he said, is what drives his on-the-ground visits and open exchanges with communities that have embraced the transformative movement from the start.
Explaining his platform, Burgueño framed the defense of national sovereignty as a defense of Mexicans’ right to determine their own future.
“In Mexico, we will always choose the path that ensures the well-being of everyone, because we must wish good for all Mexicans,” he added.
Lastly, Burgueño outlined the current phase of the party’s efforts, noting that his daily tours across Baja California are aimed at reinforcing the “second floor” of the transformation and strengthening the humanist governance model championed by Morena at every level.
