Mexican authorities seized more than $365,000 in undeclared cash from a U.S. citizen arriving at Oaxaca International Airport on a flight from Dallas, Texas, according to Mexico’s Security Cabinet.
The discovery was made during a routine passenger inspection on October 20, after a detection dog named Cinta alerted officers to the traveler’s luggage. A subsequent physical search uncovered cash hidden inside four suitcases and a backpack.
