The meeting comes as MORENA prepares for the 2027 elections, a process in which Hernández Mora plays a pivotal role overseeing internal candidate selection, polling methodology, and coalition strategy.
Hernández Mora assumed leadership of the National Elections Commission following her resignation from the Secretariat of Women in April 2026, a move agreed upon alongside President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo to allow her to focus full-time on party strategy.
