On Sunday morning, Parisian police corps discovered three people who were trying to climb the city's icon, the Eiffel Tower.

Security agents in charge of the area, identified the subjects around 5:30 am, however, they manage to get away before authorities got to them. Given that the suspects were carrying backpacks the tower was shut down to rule out any bomb attempt.

Since the Eiffel Tower has been evacuated twice in the past, due to bomb threats, the Police Department considers that it's important to follow up on this case to ensure that this was just simple "mischief". Ages as well as names of the suspects who a tried to climb the 312 meters structure still remain unknown.

A state of emergency was issued and the tower was quickly inspected. After making sure there were no abnormalities, the tourist attraction was reopen to the public during the afternoon, retaking its normal activities.
