The Gaceta Universitaria of UABC shared good news for all Baja California natives, but especially for cimarron (big horn) students and graduates, as the university was once again named the number one public university in Mexico´s Northwest.

Furthermore, they shared that, in addition to this achievement, it is also in the top 10 of federal, state and private public universities of the country.

But the news doesn't stop there, it was also named by Times Higher Education's Latin America University Ranking 2020 among the top 120 universities in Latin America. The same institution announced in April of this year that UABC was among the 400 best universities in the world.

According to the Gaceta Universitaria, the results of the ranking take into account the academic qualifications of the teaching staff, the productivity of the researchers, the collaboration with other institutions and the university's academic reputation.

Congratulations, UABC!
