Baja Governor Kiko Vega Swears In Two New Cabinet Members

Mario Herrera Zárate and Isauro López head to Education and Cabinet Coordination

TIJUANA.-Complying with articles 107 and 110 of Baja California's Political Constitution, State Governor, Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid, swore under law Mario Herrera Zárate as State Secretary of Education and Social Welfare, as well as Isauro López Cárdenas as the Cabinet's General Coordinator.

During a simple protocol ceremony accompanied by Secretary General of the Government, Francisco Rueda Gómez, the governor indicated that the changes made in the state's public administration are being made with responsibility, with the objective of strengthening the government's actions for the benefit of Baja California's residents.

Mario Gerardo Herrera Zárate, is a Constitutional Law Doctor from the Castilla de la Mancha University, a Lawyer from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC in Spanish), he has a Master's in Law and Economy from the same institution and since 1989 has been a university professor and was headmaster of the Tijuana's UABC Law School.

On his behalf, Isauro López Cárdenas is a Public Accountant and a Auditor for the University of the State of Jalisco. He has served in the public sector as Tresureman for Ensenada's City Hall, as well as for the city of Tijuana.
