The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, expressed his gratitude for the solidarity of the people of the world at the XVI Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), held this Friday in Havanna, Cuba.

Through his Twitter account, the Venezuelan leader expressed his gratitude "To the governments and people of ALBA-TCP, for solidarity, courage and understanding with the Bolivarian Revolution during these months of intense battle, in defense of our right to be happy. "

The support for the people of Venezuela in response of the attacks from United States of America (USA) and the countries that adhere to its interventionist policies, like those that integrate the Group of Lima, unanimously on the part of the States Members of the ALBA-TCP: Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Grenada.

"Without the unity of the ALBA countries, there would have already been a military intervention in Venezuela," said the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, stated in his speech.

Known as "Comrade Ralph", the politician defended the right of Venezuela to decide its own destiny. Other leaders who rejected the US interventionism, shared the same opinion, in the politics of the South American country, scenario that is trying to be replicated in Nicaragua and Bolivia.
