According to Civil Protection, Santa ana winds are still expected this week in the region.

From the afternoon of Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 of October, strong winds of 30 to 45 km/h and gusts of wind up to 70 km/h are expected. The temperature will remain the same according to normal seasonal margins, however the relative humidity will slightly drop.

The Santa Ana condition could affect the municipalities of Tecate, Tijuana, Playas de Rosarito and Ensenada with wind and dust.

This is why the risk of urban, rural, grassland and tree-lined fires rises.

It is recommended to follow these indications.
