Last week we announced that Playas de Rosarito was going to open its beaches from 6 to 10 in the morning. However, through a press release the Playas de Rosarito government confirmed that the beaches will be closed once again this weekend.

This said, due to the compliance of the instructions given by the municipal president Araceli
Brown to stop activities that would permit more coronavirus infection in the region. Nevertheless, the rules will not be as strict because they will reopen on Monday from 6 to 10 in the morning.

According to the press release “The beach visiting hours are from 6 to 10 in the morning, after that we´ll urge the visitors to leave the premises, and those who don't follow the authorities instructions will be taken to the Municipal Judge”.
They added that we are in the middle of a pandemic and that the authorities´ goal is to minimize coronavirus infections, keeping the Playas de Rosarito beaches under control.
